ACCOMMODATIONS AND
LAYOUT:
At the interior forepeak is an
enclosed anchor rode locker. Next aft is a forward sleeping
cabin with upper and lower berths to starboard, a hanging locker
and storage compartments to port. Next aft and to port is an
enclosed head with vanity and enclosed stall shower. Aft of the
head is the captain's cabin featuring a custom King size berth,
a hanging locker and ample storage compartments. To starboard is
the galley with a refrigerator and freezer combo, 3 burner
electric stove with oven, microwave, and ample counter and
storage spaces. The main salon is next aft and up three steps
from the galley. The salon area features a full helm station to
port, an entertainment center to starboard and a large sleeper
sofa with 2 matching arm chairs. Near the cockpit access door
and to port is a wet bar with U-line icemaker (replaced in 03).
Through a sliding glass door from the salon is an ample sized
fishing cockpit with a transom door, swim step, partial bimini
top cover, 2 fish wells, a wet fishing tackle station to port,
and a bait well to starboard. Up from the cockpit is a flying
bridge with a full helm station with helm chair, L-shaped guest
seating, ample storage compartments, and a bimini top with side
enclosures.
The engine compartment is beneath
the salon and is accessed by large floor hatches and a hatch
behind the stairs from the salon to the galley.

with very dependable 310 hp Detroit 671 diesel engines the
Uniflite 42 Sportfishers have a reputation for rugged
durability, good performance, and good looks. Under the current
ownership since 1992, this particular Uniflite has had
professional mechanical maintenance, knowledgeable upgrades and
great care. Although your inspection will turn up a few minor
cosmetic blisters it will also show many features seasoned
yachtsman will appreciate. The obvious examples being the
cockpit mounted fishing chairs, padded cockpit combing,
fiberglass dinghy fitted to a foredeck cradle with electric
davit and newer outboard, and all the deep navy blue canvass
covers, or the sweet looking 1/2 cockpit bimini cover, but one
of our favorites is a nicely engineered fold away full chart
display near the lower helm. This boat is worth your time to
take a look.
