ACCOMMODATIONS AND
LAYOUT:
|
This well-priced,
well-equipped, immaculate, Mikelson 43 has been customized to
offer her owners the ultimate in versatility. The owners have
added features that make this yacht an excellent fishing
platform as well as a very comfortable cruiser. She is
completely self sufficient while out on the water and is equally
comfortable on a mooring at one of the Channel Island or
fighting big fish in Cabo.
A large aft cockpit offers a good
sportfishing layout with engine controls, bait tank, and a very
convenient day head.
At the forward portion of the flying bridge is a well equipped
full helm station and at the aft is a smaller helm station for
optimum control while landing a catch or backing into tight
mooring slips.
The interior presents the best possible floor plan for a 43'
fishing yacht, excellent fit and finish and first class
accommodations with two staterooms. Positioned just aft of
the Up-Galley, a nicely furnished main salon area of polished
cherry wood and sumptuous leather is impressive. Forward
and down a few steps is a guest stateroom with over and under
berths, a guest head, and a Master stateroom with walk-around
queen sized berth. |

REMARKS:
|
The ultimate fishing
platform, this Mikelson can do it all. In addition to her
extended range , this yacht is outfitted with all the
equipment one would expect in a sportfisher plus more. Her
cockpit head/shower is ideal in that it keeps dirty fishermen
from tracking fish slime into the nice interior. The cockpit
sink is a great place to prep bait or clean fish. The padded
coamings will save your legs while pinned to the rail fighting
monster tuna offshore. She also has a tower, with a Bimini,
which is the ideal place to watch for kelp paddies, spot
billfish, or watch the whales and dolphins. The serious
fishermen will appreciate the wide beam with outriggers which
allows one to put out more lines and offers a more stable
platform when the waters get rough.
This wide-bodied boat offers
more accommodations and amenities than any other sportfisher
of her size at a value that can not be beat; this is the deal
you have been looking for.
