REMARKS:
| The
Roughwater 41' long range diesel cruiser was designed by noted
naval architect Edwin Monk for all weather seaworthiness. Monk's
design features the proven Roughwater semi-displacement hull
with full length deep keel for comfortable and stable cruising.
The fiberglass hull specifications were drawn to very strong
scantlings so as to allow the vessel to withstand the severe
operating conditions that may be found cruising many areas of
the North & South American Western Coastal regions. As the
design name implies, when the weather turns bad you can take
confidence in the Roughwater's ability to hold together and
bring you to safely through to calmer waters.
Although factory
specifications show an 800 mile range at reduced speed, the 500
mile standard range estimates still provide this tough and
accommodating cruiser with the range and capabilities to allow
the explorer in her skipper to come out and play. With
fore and aft sleeping cabins and enclosed pilothouse, excellent
access to the engine room, and a comfortable galley & salon,
this yacht has been the choice of many live aboard cruisers.
This particular
Roughwater 41 is the lowest priced on the market, is in good
condition, and is located in Oceanside Harbor, where the slip
may be
transferred to new owner !!
