ACCOMMODATIONS AND
REMARKS:
|
The Hunter 376 is an excellent performance
cruising design. With contemporary good looks, a convenient walk-through transom
and an innovative interior layout, this yacht has more usable deck and cabin
space than most comparables in the 40' size range.
The interior layout at the bow features a
forward guest cabin fitted with a Vee-berth, a separate vanity and personal
storage compartments. This enclosed cabin provides a good sleeping space that is
comfortable, well ventilated, and private. Aft of the Vee berth cabin is the
main salon. Fitted with a cushioned bench settee to port, a large U-shaped
settee with dinette to starboard, numerous storage spaces, opening hatches and
portlights, the salon presents a versatile, contemporary living space that is
roomy, bright and airy. Aft of the dinette is an attractive and good sized
L-shaped galley that is designed to work well and clean-up easily. All galley
components are close at hand and fitted to provide a maximum amount of counter
work space. To port of the galley and companionway is a nicely designed enclosed
head with a stall shower and an oversized vanity, this space is truly functional
and easy to maintain. Further aft is a comfortably arranged quarter cabin with a
double sized berth. This second sleeping cabin is surprisingly roomy and
tastefully appointed, a fine example of how innovative engineering can create
excellent use of space.
The seller is the original owner, he has
upgraded the yacht to accommodate short handed or single handed sailing and has
kept the boat professionally maintained since new. This well kept yacht is a
good value at the asking price, and an
excellent choice for the cruising couple that enjoys good sailing performance
and a clean contemporary style, and has won recent awards for best condition at
local yacht club.
