| ACCOMMODATIONS AND
LAYOUT:
The
interior, aft from the fore peak is as follows:
-
A chain locker is accessed through teak louvered doors in the
forward berth and is divided to allow storage of two sets of
ground tackle.
-
Next aft is the forward private stateroom
with an oversize double "V" berth, double door hanging locker,
drawer storage under the berth and additional drop in storage
under the mattress. Light and ventilation are provided
through an opening hatch and two reading lamps.
-
Aft of
the forward berth is the large head with a stall shower,
marine toilet and holding tank with deck pump out, overboard
valve, and a macerator pump, vanity with S/S sink and
excellent storage area's. The head is extremely spacious
and comfortable. There is a fiberglass seat in the stall
shower for offshore use.
-
The saloon area is next aft
with two settee's. The port side is "U" shaped with a
teak dinning table and the starboard side is a six foot plus
bench seat which converts to a single berth. Book
shelves are outboard above both settee's with storage under
and behind them. Light is provided by 1/2" Lexan windows
on three sides and through the companionway aft. There
are reading lamps above the settee's and bronze lighting on
the overhead. Aft of the saloon is the galley port side
and the navigation station on the starboard side.
-
At the
navigation station there is ample room for installation of your marine
electronics, breaker panels for 110 VAC and 12 VDC plus an
additional accessory breaker panel for expansion. There
are four teak drawers and a top load chart table with swing
arm seat that locks under the table when not in use.
-
The aft
cabins, one to port and one to starboard, are both private
double berths with ample room. Both have hanging lockers
and overhead storage compartments. The starboard cabin
is fitted with a vanity and S/S sink. Between the aft
cabins is the teak companionway ladder which is hinged to
allow access to the storage area behind. This is a
perfect area for sail storage, deflated dinghy, or a
generator.
REMARKS:
|
Not to be confused
with a heavy, full keel, canoe stern traditional Hans Christian
design with massive bowsprit, the
comparatively sleek and equally strong Hans Christian Christina 43 Tropic Series was designed for
performance family cruising.
This aft cockpit,
cutter rigged sloop has fiberglass with non-skid decking, low
bulwarks with teak cap rails, in-board chain plates for good
up-wind ability, and a three cabin layout. The hand
finished teak interior is complemented by teak & holly soles and built-in interior appointments. This well equipped
vessel has a very handsome set of lines, and is presented in
excellent condition and ready for a new
owner.
