The blend of both cruising and performance concepts have
been very nicely achieved by the French built Wauquiez
Centurion 49. These renown yachts are solidly built
to feature a floor plan that provides all the comforts of
a good cruising boat. The interior joinery that
forms the teak furnishings and cabinets is elegantly
designed to contemporary lines and finished to a high
quality. On deck the Centurion's flush deck
appearance is all performance, which means that there is
plenty of good foot space with few obstructions on deck,
and that the cockpit is designed to give the helmsman
great visibility and the crew good access to sheeting
winches and access to the fore deck. Overall
these sailing yachts are meant to out perform others in
their class, and do it with style.
The particular
Centurion that we have listed has had excellent
maintenance. An inspection of the full listing
specifications will show that many items on board
including the rig were thoroughly inspected and cleaned,
repaired, or replaced within the past year. The
